Along with Reynolds, her pilot husband Hoban "Wash" Washburne and the rest of the crew, Zoe takes on jobs across the border regions, avoiding the long-arm of the Alliance as well as the violent rampages of the Reavers all in an effort to make an honest, and sometimes not-so-honest, living.
