Zoe Carter is a fictional food server and one of the main characters on the science fiction television series Eureka. Played by actress Jordan Hinson, she was introduced in the show's pilot episode and has made fifty appearances in the series in total. Zoe Carter is portrayed as a fifteen-year-old disgruntled teen and the daughter of U.S. Marshal Jack Carter and Abby Carter. At the beginning of the series, she is involuntarily brought into the scientific intrigues of the town of Eureka, Oregon after her father crashes his car while en route back to their home in Los Angeles. Once Carter was offered the position of becoming the sheriff of Eureka, Zoe remained behind and eventually took up a job waiting tables at Café Diem.

- The character of Zoe Carter was created by director Peter O'Fallon and series showrunners Andrew Cosby and Jaime Paglia.
- Actress Jordan Hinson is also known for playing 15-year-old Maddie Pryor on the ABC television sitcom series Hank. She has also appeared in episodes of Dirt and CSI: Miami.
- Although Zoe does not have the intellectual superiority of the other residents of Eureka, she is by no means a dumbass. She scored a 157 on an IQ exam, but told her father that she only scored 112 so as to not make him feel bad about his own IQ score.
- Wore a nose ring during the early episodes of the series.
- Before arriving Eureka, Zoe got in trouble for impersonating a flight attendant.
