Zilius Zox is a fictional alien and a recurring antagonist featured in comic books published by DC Comics. He is associated with the Green Lantern line of comic book titles and first appeared in the Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns one-shot special in December, 2008.
Biography[]
Zilius Zox was an adult male member of the Noc'sagian race of the planet Noc'sag. The alien being known as Atrocitus of the Five Inversions formed his own space-faring legion known as the Red Lantern Corps, which stood in opposition to both the Green Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps. When Zilius Zox received a Red Lantern ring, it spoiled his blood, and altered his mental status by infusing him with overwhelming and unending rage.
Zilius joined the other Red Lanterns being gathered for Atrocitus' mission to capture Sinestro when the Green Lantern Corps escorted him to Korugar. They ambushed the Green Lanterns while they were being ambushed by the Sinestro Corps, trying to free their leader. During the battle, Zilius Zox appeared to eat the Sinestro of Sector 2332. Their mission was successful, capturing Sinestro and a few of his corps, leaving the Green Lanterns to die.
Later, on Ysmault, Atrocitus was forced to order a group of his Red Lanterns, Zilius among them, to not kill Sinestro, as he wanted Sinestro's blood to form more power rings.

- A version of Zilius Zox appeared in six episodes of Green Lantern: The Animated Series. He was voiced by actor Tom Kenny in the series.
- A version of Zilius Zox appeared in two episodes of the Justice League Action series of animated shorts. He was voiced by actor Armin Shimerman in the series.
- Zilius Zox is of the same race as Galius Zed and Cundiff Cood - both of whom are former members of the Green Lantern Corps who had fallen in battle.
