Zen-Whoberians, or Zen-Whoberis, or a fictional alien race featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. They first appeared in the form of the character Gamora in Strange Tales #180 in June, 1975.
Description[]
Zen-Whoberians are a bipedal, sentient humanoid race that hail from the planet Zen-Whoberi in the Silicon star system. Zen-Whoberians are by their nature a peace-loving race, but they suffered great losses at the hands of the Universal Church of Truth. Some twenty-plus years in the future, the Universal Church of Truth committed genocide on Zen-Whoberi, slaugthering the entire race. The alien warlord Thanos rescued a Zen-Whoberian infant, Gamora, and raised her as his daughter, training her to become an expert assassin and the most dangerous woman in the galaxy.
Biology[]
- Zen-Whoberians have physical and biological characteristics similar to that of an Earth human. The most distinguishing difference between the two is the green pigmentation of their skin.
