Zantor, also known as Zantor the Merciless, is a fictional scientist featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is part of the mainstream Marvel Universe and is a foe of the Sub-Mariner. He first appeared in the first story in Tales to Astonish #72 in October, 1965 titled "A Prince There Was!"
