"Sidekicks (Part 2)" is the second issue of the first Young Avengers ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. The story was written by Allan Heinberg with artwork by Jim Cheung and inks by John Dell & Mark Morales. It was colored by Justin Ponsor and lettered by Cory Petit of Virtual Calligraphy. The story was edited by Tom Brevoort with Andy Schmidt as associate editor and Stephanie Moore and Molly Lazer as assistant editors. This issue shipped with a May, 2005 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.99 per copy (US).

This issue is reprinted in the Young Avengers: Sidekicks trade paperback collection, released in April, 2006. It is also reprinted in the Young Avengers: The Complete Collection, published in November, 2016.
It is established that Cassie Lang is fourteen-years-old during the events of this issue. She remarks that her birthday is in June.
Stu Cicero purchases a copy of this issue in She-Hulk, Volume 2 #1.
Cassie Lang embiggens for the first time in this issue. She will soon become a member of the Young Avengers and use the name Stature.
Flashback sequences in this issue showing Jack of Hearts and the destruction of the Vision, as well as references to the death of Scott Lang all relate to the "Avengers Disassembled" storyline, which kicked off in the landmark 500th issue of The Avengers, Volume 1 in September, 2004.
The flashback scene with Rama-Tut hearkens back to the first appearance of the character in Fantastic Four #19 in October, 1963.
