Yates was a woman with long dark hair who worked as a nurse at an unidentified hospital in Wessex County, New Jersey. In addition to her traditional RN duties, Yates also served as the hospital's receptionist. In 1989, Tommy Jarvis and Pam Roberts were brought to the hospital for treatment and observation after killing psychopathic murderer Roy Burns. Nurse Yates had little interest and busied herself by filing her fingernails. (Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning)
