World of Giants was an American action/drama television series with elements of science fiction. It was produced by United Artists Television and ZIV Television Programs and was broadcast on CBS from September to November of 1959, spanning a total of only thirteen episodes. Though it's duration was brief, World of Giants is one of the earliest examples of a serialized sci-fi television series. It's contemporaries include Men Into Space and Rod Serling's popular anthology series The Twilight Zone. World of Giants starred Marshall Thompson as Mel Hunter, a six-inch American spy trapped in a "world of giants".
