Woodley Allen is a fictional F.B.I. agent and a recurring character featured in titles published by DC Comics. He is associated with the character of Starman and first appeared in Adventure Comics #61 in April, 1941.
Biography[]
Woodley Allen was an agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He was active in the city of Gotham in the early 1940s. Woodley Allen had a special relationship with the costumed superhero known as Starman. Whenever trouble struck, Woodley activated a specially designed radioactive capsule, it worked as a short-wave transmitter, sending a warning signal to Starman's Gravity Rod. The two would meet in private in a remote cabin to discuss matters of urgency.
Woodley Allen summoned Starman when the criminal known as Doctor Doog had kidnapped a scientist named Abraham Davis and was using his Ultra-Dynamo to paralyze all of the city's communications and electrical facilities. [2]
