- The character of Wonder Woman was created by writer William Moulton Marston and artist Harry G. Peter. She first appeared in a back-up feature in All-Star Comics #8 in January 1942 titled "Introducing Wonder Woman". The character then went on to headline two ongoing titles, Wonder Woman and Sensation Comics and has appeared consistently ever since.
- Writer Robert Kanigher is credited under the pen name of Charles Moulton in this issue.
- "Olympics of the Doomed" is reprinted in black and white in Showcase Presents: Wonder Woman, Volume 3, which was released in December, 2009 and carries a cover price of $17.99 per copy.
