Witchblade is a television movie that served as a pilot to a television series. It was directed by Ralph Hemecker with a teleplay written by J.D. Zeik. It was produced by Halsted Pictures, Mythic Films and Top Cow Productions and premiered on TNT on August 27th, 2000. It starred Yancy Butler as Sara Pezzini, Anthony Cistaro as Kenneth Irons, Conrad Dunn as Tommy Gallo, David Chokachi as Jake McCarthy, Kenneth Walsh as Joe Siri, Will Yun Lee as Danny Woo, and Eric Etebari as Ian Nottingham.
