Biography[]
Secret Empire[]
Wilson Fisk teamed up with Doctor Strange, Spider-Woman and Ben Urich in a bid to stop Baron Mordo from merging New York City with the Dark Dimension. During the chaos, Fisk was possessed by a juvenile smoke demon. Ben Urich had to take on the power of the Light Knight and used the Sword of Light to expel the demon from the host body. [3]
Devil's Reign[]
Working with Federal lawmakers, Wilson Fisk helped to draft the Powers Act, which prohibited the unlawful use of superhuman abilities. In the capacity of Mayor of New York City, he heavily enforced the act through the use of the government agency known as Thunderbolts, as well as armored response teams called Thunderbolt Units. [4]
After learning Jessica Drew's secret identity as Spider-Woman, Wilson Fisk freed the Skrull known as Veranke from Ravencroft and sent her after Jessica's loved ones. Jessica fought Wilson Fisk in his home at Gracie Mansion, and also fought the Thunderbolt Units that were present as protective detail. [5]
