Willie Lumpkin is a fictional mail man and a recurring character featured in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He first appeared in Fantastic Four, Volume 1 #11 in February, 1963.
Overview[]
Willie Lumpkin was an elderly man who lived in New York City, New York. He was an employee of the U.S. postal service in good standing and delivered mail to the Baxter Building in Manhattan. He often came across Reed Richards or other members of the Fantastic Four while delivering the team's copious amounts of fan mail. He even offered to help them out as a member of the team. Despite not having any super-powers, Willie believed that wiggling his ears well might somehow be a benefit. Richards politely declined his offer.
