William Asmodeus Zard is a fictional comic book super-villain who goes by the code-name of The Wizard. He was introduced during the Golden Age era of publication and first appeared in All-Star Comics #34 in April, 1947 in a story titled "The Wiles of the Wizard". The Wizard was later retroactively attributed to Earth-Two continuity, but was later re-folded into modern continuity. The Wizard began his career as a minor occultist using Tibetan mysticism, but later developed the ability to wield true magic.
