William Boone is a fictional character and one of the central figures from the first season of the Canadian television series Earth: Final Conflict. Played by actor Kevin Kilner, he was introduced in the series' pilot episode, "Decision", and appeared in twenty-four episodes of the program in total.
Biography[]
William Boone was a police captain assigned to the security detail of Companion Da'an, a Taelon, who came to Earth with others of his species three years earlier. Boone was assigned to maintain crowd control during an important summit in the midwest wherein Da'an was to establish a technology exchange agreement with eccentric multinational industrialist Jonathan Doors.
Boone's efforts to safeguard Da'an were thrown askew when FBI agent Ronald Sandoval interfered with the security detail, insisting that everything was fine and that there was no need for additional attention. During the public meeting, an assassin attempted to kill Da'an by firing a shot from a nearby building, but succeeded only in killing Doors instead. Boone investigated the security breach and discovered that the assassin was actually an old friend of his, Eddy Jordan. Following this incident, Boone became mistrustful of anyone and everyone, in particular, the Taelons.
Companion Da'an asked Boone to become a permanent member of his security detail, but Boone respectfully declined. Shortly thereafter, his wife Kate turned up dead. [1]
