Biography[]
Whiteshroud was an officer in the British Army and served during World War II where he achieved the rank of Colonel. He was stationed in North Africa and is known for combating the forces of German field marshal Erwin Rommel.
It was probably at some point during his time in the British Army that Whiteshroud learned about the existence of monsters. In the ensuing years, he became an expert on different types of creatures known to roam, fly, and slither across the earth, but also how to combat them. To this end, he formed the Monster Hunters Club.
Whiteshroud's exploits found him confronting monumental threats such as a giant manta, a werewolf posing as a lawyer [1], and the fabled Boar's Head Beast. [2] Although a monster hunter, he did not instinctively seek out to destroy all creatures that go bump in the night. He actually formed a companionship with the vampire known as Countess R.H. Von Bludd. [3]
