Allusions[]
- Guillermo makes reference to the 1994 feature film Interview with the Vampire, which is based on a best-selling novel by author Anne Rice. He points out his admiration for Antonio Banderas and his portrayal of Armand, who was the first Latino vampire presented in a major American motion picture. Guillermo shows a photograph of himself dressed up as Armand from the film.
- Nandor's straight vertical rise from his coffin is similar to that of Count Orlok from the 1922 silent film classic Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens.
