Notes & Trivia[]
- Wetworks was created by writer and artist Whilce Portacio and artist Brandon Choi. They were originally published by Image Comics under their WildStorm Productions imprint. Later stories were published by DC Comics. They first appeared in WildC.A.T.s #2 in September, 1992.
- This issue is reprinted in the Wetworks: Rebirth trade paperback collection.
- This issue was originally intended as a three-issue limited series, but was then expanded into a regular ongoing series.
- Initially, this title was slated to be part of the Image Comics starting line-up, but suffered delays due to the death of creator Whilce Portacio's sister. Portacio provides an editorial in this issue, commemorating his sister.
