Westview is a fictional town featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is associated with the WandaVision mini-series on Disney+ and first appeared in the premiere episode, "Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience".

Description[]

Westview is a town located in New Jersey. It has been blocked off from being perceived by those in the regular world and exists as a simulacrum of classic television sitcom environments. Wanda Maximoff lived in Westview with her "husband" the Vision, where she believed was living in a 1950s style suburban community. This stylistic aesthetic evolved to pattern itself after 1960s sitcoms, and later, 1970s sitcoms.

The space that Westview occupied in the real world was investigated by agents of S.W.O.R.D., as well as the Federal Bureau of Investigation. S.W.O.R.D. agent Monica Rambeau, and F.B.I. agent Jimmy Woo approached the perimeter of Westview, whereupon Captain Rambeau was pulled into the virtual reality, only to later be expelled by Wanda's magic.
