"Somewhere South of Heaven"[]

An intoxicated Jack Russell is watching a classic era werewolf movie in a theater on the Lower East Side. He gets kicked out by a janitor, who mistakes him for a homeless person. He goes outside, vomits in an alley, then walks home, passing by a basketball court where he encounters his friend, Father Vince Adobe. Vince encourages Jack to open up to him, but Jack dismisses him and continues on his way.

Jack goes down into the sewer where he works to a section that he uses for the nights of the full moon. Although he has gained some measure of control over his werewolf transformations, he cannot control the change on nights of the full moon. Nights such as tonight.

While in his werewolf state, Jack is tormented by vicious dreams. The following day, after a conversation with his girlfriend Roxanna, Jack begins scouring the internet for information relating to the images from his dreams. He learns about something called the Third Moon and contacts Father Adobe. Adobe explains that the Third Moon was a wolf cult that attempted to control a demon using a wolfsblade, but ended up becoming servants of the demon. Father Adobe asks Jack what he is looking for and Jack replies, "I'm not sure, Father. But I'll let you know when I find it".
