"Terrible Threat of the Tri-Animan!" is the forty-third and final issue of the first Werewolf by Night ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It was written by Doug Moench with artwork and inks by Don Perlin. It was colored by George Roussos and lettered by Debbie James. The story was edited by Archie Goodwin. This issue shipped with a March, 1977 cover date and carries a cover price of .30 cents per copy.

- The character of Jack Russell was created by Roy Thomas, Dann Thomas & Gerry Conway and artist Mike Ploog. He first appeared in the "Night of Full Moon... Night of Fear!" story from Marvel Spotlight #2 from February, 1972.
- This issue carries the approval stamp of the Comics Code Authority.
- This issue was reprinted in black and white in the Essential Werewolf by Night, Volume 2 trade paperback collection in October, 2005. It was also reprinted in remastered color in the Werewolf by Night Omnibus hardcover collection from October, 2015 and in Werewolf by Night: The Complete Collection, Volume 3 trade paperback in May, 2018.
- This is the final issue of the series. This issue includes a farewell letter from writer Doug Moench entitled, "The Last of the Big Full Mooners: A Final Eclipse, by Doug Moench". Although Moench is not the original writer of the series, he has the longest tenure on the title over any other author.
- This is the second and final appearance of the Tri-Animan; destroyed in this issue.
