A weredemon is a supernatural creature. It is a human being who, under a particular set of circumstances, transforms into a demon for a predetermined period of time. They are distinguished from half-demons in that while in human form, they otherwise demonstrate no physical or biological characteristics common to a demon. While in demon form, their human consciousness subsides, replaced by that of an animalistic beast. The transformative cycle of a weredemon is similar to that of a werewolf.
History[]
Teenager Lissa Russell, who already suffered from the curse of lycanthropy, was struck by a blast of eldritch energy from the sorcerer known as Doctor Glitternight. This prompted a mutated change in her otherwise normal werewolf form, giving her blackish-blue skin, a distended jaw, enlarged teeth, and a scaly tail. She also developed the ability to project fire from her eyes. Physically, she was slightly stronger than her werewolf brother, Jack Russell, though she was not nearly as durable. The two fought against one another on the roof of Russoff Manor. They fell from the roof, and Lissa was rendered unconscious. When she awakened the following morning, she had regressed to human form. Fortunately, Doctor Glitternight's magic waned, and she no longer became the weredemon. [1]
