Wendy Peyser is a recurring supporting character featured on the FX Network television series American Horror Story. She was featured in season two of the show, which was billed under the subtitle, American Horror Story: Asylum. The character was played by actress Clea DuVall and first appeared in the season premiere, "Welcome to Briarcliff".
Overview[]
Wendy Peyser was a school teacher born in 1934 working in Wasaugee, Massachusetts during the 1960s. She was a lesbian and the lover of investigative reporter Lana Winters. Wendy was manipulated into revealing Lana's homosexual proclivities to the wrong people, resulting in her placement at the Briarcliff Manor mental hospital. Wendy later became the fourth and final victim of Oliver Thredson - the serial killer known as Bloody Face.

- Wendy Peyser also appeared in a photograph in several episodes of the show as well. Lana Winters kept the photograph with her at Briarcliff and it remained her one steady connection to the outside world.
- Wendy Peyser smoked cigarettes, but also occasionally smoked marijuana.
