Biography[]
Kimberly Foster was a stewardess aboard a privately owned Grumman single-engine airplane during the 1950s. Along with her husband, pilot Captain Cooper, she worked under the employ of the wealthy Cutter family of Roanoke, Virginia. On August 13th, 1953, Wendy and her husband, as well as co-pilot Francis Edward Brackett ferried Grant Cutter, Jr. and his new bride Michelle Temple across the Bermuda Triangle for their honeymoon. Time traveler Sam Beckett leaped into the body of Eddie Brackett and discovered that Michelle Temple was fated to die from appendicitis unless they could get her to a hospital quickly. When the plane lost its heading in the middle of the Bermuda Triangle, Captain Cooper wanted to turn back, but Sam knew that Michelle would die before they could get to Virginia. The only recourse was to keep flying through the Triangle towards Bermuda. Wendy helped Sam take care of Michelle and after her appendix burst, she aided him in cobbling together a rudimentary IV to stabilize her blood pressure. Although this was only a temporary solution, it kept Michelle alive long enough for them to get her to a hospital in Bermuda. [2]
