Weird Science is an American television series of the science fiction and situation comedy subgenres. It was based on a popular 1985 feature film by the same name and aired on the USA Network for five seasons from 1994 to 1997. The show was produced by Leslie Belzberg, John Landis and Robert K. Weiss and had a total of 88 episodes. The series starred Michael Manasseri and John Mallory Asher as teenage nerds Wyatt Donnelly and Gary Wallace. Vanessa Angel played the role of Lisa - an artificially created woman, whose genie-like powers and slavish obedience to Gary and Wyatt provide the impetus for many of the show's various pratfalls. Rounding out the cast is Lee Tergesen who plays Chett Donnelly, Wyatt's churlish older brother.
