Biography[]
Wayne Fisher was born in 1921. In the year 1950, when he was thirty-two years old, he murdered a woman with a hammer in New Mexico. He was arrested and sent to Dewbend State Penitentiary where he was placed on Death Row. In 1953, Wayne Fisher was scheduled to be sentenced to death. His last meal was a rib-eye steak. His final words as he was being strapped into the electric chair were "Go to Hell".
When the executioner threw the switch, ending Fisher's life, it drew power from the surrounding area, causing lights to flicker. At the nearby Rainier residence, a child named Christian Rainier exclaimed to his father Gerald, "They're frying one, Pa!" He then said to the open air, "You're on the Hades Express, Mister!" Gerald Rainier, who worked at Dewbend as a prison guard, admonished Christian for his comments, noting that death was nothing to celebrate. [1]
