The Watchers is an American feature film of the supernatural thriller and creature feature subgenres of horror. It is based on a novel by A.M. Shine. The film was written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan - the daughter of filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan in her directorial debut. It was produced by Warner Bros., New Line Cinema, Blinding Edge Pictures and Inimitable Pictures. It premiered in the Philippines on June 5th, 2024. It opened in parts of Europe and South America on June 6th, 2024. The movie opened to wide release in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom on June 7th, 2024. The film stars Dakota Fanning as the central protagonist Mina, along with Georgina Campbell as Ciara, Olwen Fouéré as Madeline, and Oliver Finnegan as Daniel.
Plot[]
A young artist gets stranded in an extensive, immaculate forest in western Ireland, where, after finding shelter, she becomes trapped alongside three strangers, stalked by mysterious creatures each night.
