A warrior is one who participates in armed combat, usually in the service of a government or some military regiment. The heroes from Star Wars have been referred to as "Star Warriors". In Marvel Comics, three adventure-seekers from Asgard have banded together as the Warriors Three. Warriors is also the name of a fictional superhero themed bar and eatery in DC Comics continuity. It is owned and operated by the then-retired hero Guy Gardner, who had also gone by the name of Warrior for a time. In the Doctor Who mythos, the alien race known as the Sontarans are made up of warrior clans. The Klingons from Star Trek fame share a similar disposition and their entire culture is governed by their strict sense of honor and their fearlessness in battle.
