War of the Colossal Beast is an American feature film of the science fiction genre. It was directed by Bert I. Gordon with a screenplay written by George Worthing Yates based on a story treatment by Gordon. It was produced by Carmel Productions and released in the United States in June, 1958. Actor Dean Parkin takes up the role of Colonel Glenn "The Colossal Man" Manning, and shrieks, shouts, and grunts his way from Mexico to Los Angeles.
