As a child, Wally created his own comic strip called "My Greenest Adventure" (a play on My Greatest Adventure). The hero of the strip was a character named Flex Mentallo, whom Wally brought to life. Wally later became a prisoner and subject of the Men from N.O.W.H.E.R.E., who operated out of the Ant Farm.
