"No Turning Back"[]
Lydia pulls a gun on Andrea after she learns of Andrea's intention of taking her out of Alexandria. Carl arrives and pulls a gun on Lydia. Lydia is scared, and doesn't trust the Alexandrians' intentions, but Carl gets her to lower her weapon, and convinces her that they are only looking out for her safety. There are those who have lost loved ones due to the actions of Lydia's mother, and they may wish to vent that frustration upon the daughter.
Deep in the woods, Alpha takes a private moment to lament the loss of her daughter. A Whisperer walks up to her and takes note of her tears. He removes his skin mask and offers forth his support, but warns her that others might see her crying as a sign of weakness. "If you don't want to get challenged...", he says, "You better make sure nobody else finds out about this". Alpha tells him that she is taking car of that, then slits his throat with her knife.
Meanwhile, Dwight and another former Savior named Laura arrive at the old abandoned Sanctuary. Laura tells him that he should have stayed behind to help Rick against the Whisperers.
Back at Alexandria, Rick Grimes holds a meeting with the town and tells him about his plan to set up a small patrol for an expedition across the Whisperer border. Many of the Alexandrians are not satisfied with such a meager plan. They are out for blood. Morton Rose in particular openly questions Rick's leadership skills, and as tempers continue to rise, it only takes a few moments before fists are being thrown. As a fight explodes in the town hall, Rick fires his gun and threatens to shoot the next person that throws a punch.
After the meeting adjourns, Rick goes to the jail house and visits Negan's cell. He tells him, "I need your help". Negan silently replies with a razor blade smile.
