Allusions[]

  • The title of this episode is taken from a line of dialogue repeatedly spoken by Gabriel Stokes. It refers to their unending search for supplies. Aaron keeps wanting to give up after each empty house, but Gabriel insists "One more". By the end of the episode, Aaron speaks the line, indicating that he is not going to give up.
  • Gabriel Stokes refers to Tommy Franklin, who was a cancer victim who died prior to the apocalypse. Gabriel Stokes presided over Tommy's funeral.
  • The game that Mays forces Gabriel and Aaron to play is Russian roulette. Russian roulette is a lethal game of chance in which a player places a single round in a revolver, spins the cylinder, places the muzzle against his or her head, and pulls the trigger. If the loaded chamber aligns with the barrel, the weapon will fire, killing the player.

Quotes[]

  • Gabriel Stokes: Evil people aren't the exception to the rule. They are the rule.
