Plot[]
Several Alexandrians have decided to give life at the Commonwealth a try. They find themselves placed into a caste system, with duties being dispense based upon the strengths of the individual. While some like Juanita Sanchez end up in the retail business, others such as Daryl and Rosita are conscripted into law-enforcement.
Meanwhile, Carol Peletier notices that Ezekiel's condition is worsening. She consults with a doctor only to discover that he is so far down the operations list, that he will die before he even has a chance at surgery. Carol uses her wits to steal some wine in the hopes of extending a bribe to Lance Hornsby in the hopes of getting Ezekiel moved further up the list.
Following Halloween activities, Governor Pamela Milton hosts a gala function to celebrate the success of the Commonwealth. A former soldier for the Commonwealth named Tyler Davis, breaks ranks and starts a commotion, even taking Milton's personal assistant hostage. The man flees, and Daryl gives chase. He captures the former soldier, but allows Pamela's son, Sebastian the chance to bring him in, so he can claim bragging rights for Tyler's capture.
