Wade, first name unknown, was a member of the Women's Army Corps during World War II. In addition to her military responsibilities, Miss Wade also worked as a secretary. She was friends with the costumed adventurers known as Mister Scarlet and Pinky the Whiz Kid. Sergeant Wade played a key role in ferreting out a spy at the WAC facility named Miss Perkins, who was actually a criminal named Gladys Malone. Malone tried to frame Wade for her own crimes, but Sergeant Wade exposed Malone and cleared herself of all charges. (Wow Comics 32)

Wade was a young man who lived in the town of Haddonfield, Illinois in the 1980s. On October 31st, 1988, Wade went into the local Discount Mart to try out some sunglasses. Brady knew that Wade liked Kelly Meeker, but didn't think he had the guts to make a move on her. He bet him ten dollars to go up to her to ask her out. Wade put up his money and went over to where Kelly was stacking shelves of hair products. He didn't even get a word out when Kelly said to him, "Fuck off, Wade".
