Overview[]
Biography[]
Vuk is a green-skinned extraterrestrial of the D'Bari race. Many years ago, Vuk came to Earth where his space ship crash landed, burying him in the Earth for a considerable amount of time. When he finally surfaced, he was perceived as a threat and began using his matter-transmutation ray to turn people into stone. Vuk encountered the Atlantean nobleman Prince Namor and entered into an accord with him. As his ally, Vuk attacked Namor's foes, the Avengers, turning them into stone as well. The recently awakened World War II hero, Captain America, convinced Vuk that he turned his newfound comrades back to normal, he would help him find a way to repair his space craft. Once his ship was operationable again, Vuk departed from the planet Earth. [1]
Vuk was one of the lucky few who survived the near-extinction of his race after the Dark Phoenix flew through the D'Bari sun, causing it to explode, killing billions of innocent D'Bari. [2] Because of this however, Vuk nursed a deep hatred of humanity. He eventually encountered the She-Hulk, who convinced him that not all humans are bad and he should not hold the entire race accountable for what the Dark Phoenix did. [3]
