The Visitor was a short-lived American science fiction television series produced by Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich. It aired on the Fox Network from September of 1997 to January of 1998 spanning only thirteen episodes. The series starred John Corbitt as Adam MacArthur, a man who had been abducted by aliens in the Bermuda Triangle during World War II and returns to Earth fifty years later gifted with strange and remarkable abilities. Trying to make it on his own in the world, Adam travels across the country, using his abilities to help others. He is pursued by a US Army colonel named James Vise, who sees MacArthur's presence as a threat to national security. He is also captured the attention of three FBI agents who wish to learn more about Adam's abilities and how he came to be in the present.
