Violent Hues is a comic book coloring firm. They were used primarily by Malibu Comics during the mid 1990s and also by Marvel Comics in the late 1990s after Marvel acquirred Malibu's "Ultraverse" properties. Notable colorists that worked for or with Violent Hues includes Chris DeFilippo and Ruth Yasharpour. Some of the titles that Violent Hues worked on includes Prime, Rune, Mantra, Freex and The Strangers. They also worked on Malibu's Star Trek line of comic titles.
