Verpines are a fictional alien race featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. They first appeared in issue #7 of the original Star Wars comic book series by Marvel Comics in a story called "New Planets, New Perils!"
Description[]
Verpines were tall bepidal sentient species with insectoid features and green exoskeletons. They had two fingers and an opposable thumb on each hand. They existed in a hive-based society.
