Venus Capriccio is an American ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics and licensed through CMX Manga. It is the English translation of the Japanese manga of the same name. The black and white series is written and illustrated by Mai Nishikata, who also provides the cover art illustrations for all four volumes. The series began publication in April, 2009, with the last published volume being released in May, 2010.
The premise of the series involves seventeen-year-old Takami Habara and her childhood friend Akira Sasaki, who is two years her junior. As high school students, the two bond even closer while taking piano lessons and a budding romance develops between the two.
