"Vengeance of Vampirella" is the untitled first issue of the second Vengeance of Vampirella ongoing comic book series and is published by Dynamite Entertainment. It was written by Thomas Sniegoski with artwork and inks by Michael Sta. Maria. It was colored by Omi Remalante, Jr. and lettered by Troy Peteri. The story was edited by Joseph Rybandt and Kevin Ketner with Matt Idelson as senior editor. This issue shipped in October, 2019 and carries a cover price of $3.99 per copy (US).
"Vengeance of Vampirella"[]
An elderly woman tells a scared child the story about how Vampirella died some twenty-five years ago; impaled through the chest by her immortal nemesis, Nyx. She emphasizes how Vampirella died a hero trying to save the world.
Meanwhile, Pendragon sends agent Danser Cobb on a mission to retrieve the Lazarus Book. Danser eventually find the mystic tome in a library beneath an old church. He brings it back to Pendragon, who needs it in order to complete a very important ritual. However, the ritual requires a blood sacrifice, so Pendragon slits Cobb's throat open. With all of the components for the spell in place, Pendragon uses the Lazarus Book to resurrect Vampirella from the grave.

- Vampirella was created by writer Forrest J. Ackerman and artist Tom Sutton. Famed comic artist Frank Frazetta was the first artist to depict Vampirella with his cover illustration for Vampirella #1, which was published by Warren Publishing in September, 1969.
