"On the Side of Angels" is the title to the second issue of the Vampirella Strikes comic book limited series published by Dynamite Entertainment. The series features the character of Vampirella, who first appeared in her own Vampirella illustrated magazine series by Warren Publishing, which ran from 1969 to 1983. This story was written by Tom Sniegoski with artwork by Johnny Desjardins. It was colored by Adriano Lucas and lettered by Marshall M. Dillon. It was edited by Joseph Rybandt. Synopsis[]
To understand the ways of the fallen angels, Vampirella must seek out the assistance of Janus, a former soldier in the legion of Heaven, who walks the line between the damned and divine. But someone would rather the pair never meet, as a horde of street people-under the influence of a deadly new, body-twisting drug made from the blood of an Archangel-are sent to deal with them. Vampirella's mission for Heaven could be over before it's even begun.
