Vampirella: The Red Room is an American comic book limited series of the action, science fiction and horror genres. It is based on the original Vampirella published by Warren Publishing from 1969 to 1983. It was published by Dynamite Entertainment and ran for four issues from April to November, 2012.
The series was written by Dan Brereton with artwork and inks by Jean Diaz. It was colored by Alex Guimarães, Adriano Augusto, & Marcio Menyz, and lettered by Marshall Dillon. The series was edited by Joseph Rybandt. Each issue sold to retailers for $3.99 per copy (US).
The Red Room is an underground fighting circuit in rural Arkansas where unsavory proprietors pit humans against monsters in gruesome death matches. Vampirella and a lawman of some renown investigate the affair to unlock mysterious, arcane forces that drive the frenzied combatants.
