Overview[]
The Vampire Lestat was a heavy metal band that originally went by the name Satan's Night Out. Their membership included Alex, Larry and Tough Cookie. While practicing their music, the tones of their electric sound awakened the slumbering vampire Lestat de Lioncourt. This inspired him to rise from his grave and he became completely entranced by the frenetic energy of their music. He introduced himself to the trio, and in short order, became the lead singer of the band, rebranding it as The Vampire Lestat.
Through Lestat, the members of the band became famous rock stars. During a concert, their music awakened another, more ancient and more powerful vampire - Akasha.
