"Mother's Day" is the 10th episode of season 2 of the 2009-2011 V relaunch series. It is the 22nd episode of the program overall and the final episode of the series. The episode was directed by Bryan Spicer and written by Scott Rosenbaum and Gregg Hurwitz. It first aired on the ABC network on Tuesday, March 15th, 2011. In this episode, the Fifth Column plan to use Lisa to bait her mother Anna into a trap in which they will deal with her once and for all. Anna uncovers the plot however and Lisa is captured. Diana finally comes up from within the bowels of the Visitor mother ship and reveals herself to all of the Visitors. Anna however, has no intention of allowing her mother to resume her previous role of Visitor High Commander. Unable to rely upon Lisa, Anna takes alternative measures to have a Visitor mate with Tyler Evans. Meanwhile, Erica Evans learns that there are others out there ready to take a stand against the Visitors besides the Fifth Column as she is recruited into a top secret military resistance.
