Universal Monsters: Frankenstein is an American comic book limited series of the horror genre. It is a serialized adaptation of the 1931 feature film Frankenstein, produced by Universal Pictures, which in turn, was a loose adaptation of the 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus by author Mary Shelley. The comic book adaptation was published by Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment and ran for four issues from August to November, 2024. The book was written and illustrated by Michael Walsh with coloring by Toni Marie Griffin and lettering by Becca Carey. The series was edited by Alex Antone. In addition to touching upon the key points from the movie, Michael Walsh adds new characters and set designs to flesh out the rich and horrific world that was brought to the silver screen by director James Whale.
