Ultraman Orb is a Japanese science fiction adventure series of the tokusatsu (suitmation) style and is part of the greater Ultraman universe. It was produced by Tsuburaya Productions and aired on TV Tokyo from July 9th to December 24th, 2016, spanning a total of twenty-five episodes. Each episode had an actual running time of 24-25 minutes. It is the twenty-eighth project in the "Ultra" series and is the eighth project released during the Heisei era. It is preceded by Ultraman X and is followed by Ultraman Geed. The series stars Hideo Ishiguro as Gai Kurenai, aka Ultraman Orb, along with Miyabi Matsuura as paranormal website researcher Naomi "Cap" Yumeno, Naoto Takahashi as colleague Jetta Hayami and Hiroaki Nerio as super-smarty Shin Matsudo. Also starring in the series is Shingo Yanagisawa as Naomi's police officer uncle Ittetsu Shibukawa, and Takaya Aoyagi as the series antagonist, Jugglus Juggler.
