Notes & Trivia
- The character of Wolverine was created by writer Len Wein and artists John Romita, Sr. and Herb Trimpe. Most comic fans credit writer Chris Claremont with truly defining the character, however. He was introduced in a cameo stinger at the end of Incredible Hulk #180 in October, 1974, but made his first full appearance in the following issue, Incredible Hulk #181. In May, 1975, he became a member of the X-Men in Giant-Size X-Men #1. He has been associated with the X-Men in some capacity, either as a team member of an ally, ever since.
- The Hulk was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby. He first appeared in Incredible Hulk #1 in May, 1962 in a story titled "The Coming of the Hulk".
