Ugnaughts are a fictional alien race featured in the Star Wars multimedia franchise. They first appeared in the 1980 feature film Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
Description[]
Ugnaughts are a sentient bipedal race who hail from the planet Gentes in the Anoat Sector. They stand approximately one meter tall and have porcine features, which includes a snout, a ridged brow and upturned tusks. Personality wise, they have been described as being "unfriendly". The average lifespan of an Ugnaught is two-hundred years (a year is two-hundred days in the Anoat System). Ugnaught children were called Ugletts.
Culture[]
Ugnaughts lived in tribal communities. They maintained an oral tradition in their history and were noted to be a loyal and hardworking people. They administered their affairs through terend councils which were led by an elected ufflor officer.
