The Republic of Uganda, most commonly known as just Uganda, is a landlocked country located in the region of East Africa on the continent of Africa.
In the DC Comics series New Teen Titans, Volume 1, Uganda was the burial site of a floating island built beneath the ruins of an ancient temple. It was commanded by the supervillain Madame Rouge and her Nazi cohort General Zahl. Following a battle with the Teen Titans, the island's powerful engine array uprooted itself from the jungle veldt, floating away and leaving behind an immense crater. [1]
