"A Quality of Mercy" is the thirteenth episode of season three of the American science fiction television series The Twilight Zone, and the eightieth episode of the series overall. The episode was directed by Buzz Kulik with a teleplay written by Rod Serling based on a story treatment by Sam Rolfe. It first aired on CBS on Friday, December 29th, 1961.
